- Description
- The video "Tanz für eine Frau" [Dance for a Woman] shows the artist as a dancer who spins continuously around her own axis to the beat of the waltz "Ich tanze mit dir in den Himmel hinein" [Dancing trough the skies]. The piece of music is repeated continuously in combination with the endless spins of the dance. The image is thus both dazzling and unsettling. Seen from above, the dancing woman resembles a spinning music box doll that sways slightly back and forth within the frame of the screen before regaining her balance at its center.
