Wintermusik 2007
Thu, November 15, 2007 – Sat, November 17, 2007, Festival
ZKM | Karlsruhe presents »Wintermusik 2007.« Manfred Reichert and his »Ensemble 13« are hereby drawing to a close their long festival tradition, which began with the first »Wintermusik« in 1981.
Along with works by Franz Schubert and Wolfgang Rihm, »Ensemble 13« will premiere the project »Von der Wirklichkeit hinter den Grenzen« by Hans-Christian von Dadelsen and Manfred Reichert. Both writers use the dramaturgical means of collage to free the music from the limits of traditional aesthetic-intellectual codes and to integrate listeners beyond their usual expectations.
Rounding off the musical program will be an exhibition of posters by Uwe Lohrer, who has designed the »Ensemble 13« festival posters and program booklets since 1981.

With support from the Kulturreferat der Stadt Karlsruhe, the Ministry of Science, Research, and Art Baden-Württemberg, and the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation. In cooperation with ZKM | Karlsruhe.
