The music by composer Moritz von Woellwarth is based on images and memories. The musical structures and melodies develop their own dynamics during the work process, and the impressions become increasingly more abstract.
As a flexible ensemble, the Abstrakt Orchestra realizes musical ideas and improvisational concepts in the areas of modern Jazz, free improvisation, and new music. The interaction of Moritz von Woellwarth and the Abstrakt Orchestra shows the beauty of the concept of improvisation and through the abandonment to sound and rhythm, creates a special type of listening experience.
