Marco Blaauw (trumpet) and Melvyn Poore (tuba) are among the most highly adept instrumentalists in Europe in terms of playing technique and handling of sophisticated electronic methods. The two concert evenings will comprise presentations of new solo works for tuba and trumpet using electronic methods. The concerts thereby offer an overview of the state of composition of electroacoustic music. In addition, renowned international composers have agreed to participate in the premiere. The two concerts will be produced as CDs for the Edition ZKM at WERGO.
