Jazz conquers the ZKM_Cube! Hammond Eggs − Jermaine Landsberger, Paulo Morello and Christoph Huber − are on a special mission: bringing the legendary sound of the Hammond-B3 guitar arrangement in jazz back into the present! The music ranges from modern swing-organ jazz via jazz-rock through to funk, characterized by odd and even meters, overlapping rhythms and a funkiness based on the encounter of jazz improvisation, the rhythmic intensity of rock and the heat of funk.

On this evening Hammond Eggs will be supported by star soloist Bob Mintzer. The North American saxophone player became famous, among other things, as member of the Yellowjackets, and collaborates with many famous colleagues such as Art Blakey, Donald Fagen, Jaco Pastorius and Nancy Wilson.
