Lecture
Mon, July 01, 2019 7 pm CEST

»Criminal prosecution in times of terror« is the title of the lecture and it directly raises many questions: How was terrorism prosecuted in the past and how do we proceed today? What does espionage mean and what are the differences between different states? What is the responsibility of »the Office of the Attorney General«?

Dr. Peter Frank addresses these questions and the current legal problems. He is the Attorney General at the Federal Supreme Court and thus the supreme criminal prosecution authority of the Federal Republic of Germany in the field of state security. He was born in Baden-Württemberg and completed his studies in Würzburg and Munich. There he began his career, among others in the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice, at the Higher Regional Court of Munich and as Attorney General.

The »Junge Juristen Karlsruhe e. V.« is a non-profit association with the aim of contributing to the development and maintenance of legal life in Karlsruhe. The events are free and open to the public and are aimed equally at legal professionals and interested citizens.
