In her performance »Gesehen Werden« (Being Seen), artist Farzane Vaziritabar invites us to relive the situation of Iranian women and to show solidarity.

It was women who, with the headscarf as a symbol, started one of the strongest protest movements against the regime in Iran for many years. The young Iranian artist Farzane Vaziritabar deals with the life situation of these women in her work. Her performance »Gesehen Werden« (Being Seen) tells in a focused and visually powerful way about the obligation to cover the female head. In the process, she also involves the audience.
