The ZKM team and Peter Weibel's friends from the arts and sciences come together for a celebration in honor of his life and work.

Peter Weibel was an artist, researcher, theorist, professor, curator and publicist - a visionary with a thirst for knowledge and courage. Fascinated by all forms of thought and creation, he defied the boundaries between art, science and technology, threw certainties overboard and thus expanded the horizons of what could be thought and done. His thoughts and actions were guided by the ideal that reality can be shaped.

For more than 24 years he worked closely with the ZKM team and artists, theoreticians and scientists from all over the world. His death is a great loss for the community, his life was a great enrichment. Therefore, we want to celebrate his extraordinary life and work once again with contributions from friends and colleagues from art and science.

We are looking forward to an evening together with ZKM team and friends.

Admission is from 5.30 pm.
For the reconstruction, the ZKM will be closed on this day already at 3 pm.
