»Florence« is a short adventure game that tells the story of Florence Yeoh.

Florence is a short adventure game that tells the story of Florence Yeoh. She is 25 years old and feels unsatisfied with her everyday life, consisting of nothing more than routines and social media. But the situation changes when she meets Krish, a cello player, who completely shifts her perspective on the world.

The story is not told continuously – players witness individual moments: her work, a dinner, the first date. Various game mechanics thereby stand metaphorically for the protagonist‘s feelings. Thus, a conversation becomes a puzzle that needs to be put together, and an argument turns into puzzle pieces that no longer match.

Florence’s hand-drawn visuals were inspired by slice-of-life graphic novels and webcomics
