»Rock the Code«

In the context of the installation »// supraliminal«, a data visualization with a synched sonification addressing the constant expansion of the universe, Greg Niemeyer and Paul Miller aka DJ Spooky are presenting a workshop on how image, sound and space experiences can be linked by using a code.

The participants of this workshop, together with Greg Niemeyer and Paul Miller aka DJ Spooky, are working with a variety of tools – from MAXMSP to Ableton, from DMX to Maya, from Processing to openFrameworks – to create synchronous audiovisual events, where music, image and light are composed at the same time.

The workshop fit ideally for students who have experience in at least one of the domains and would like to learn more about the other two.
