WORKSHOPS FOR KIDS' BIRTHDAYS
You want to celebrate an unforgettable birthday with your friends? Whether in our workshop rooms on site or as an online format with various artistic media – we will find the right offer for you and your guests! You will experience an exciting new kind of birthday together, get creative, learn cool things and definitely have a lot of fun. Are you curious about what to expect? Lightgrafitti Flash
from 5 years up, duration: 2 hours, cost: € 150
Drawing with light! Is that possible? Sure it is! In our workshop, we will use torches to draw pictures in the dark and take photos of them. You will be amazed at the crazy and mysterious pictures that emerge.

Best of BÄM
from 8 years up, duration: 3 hours, cost: € 210
To all the Makers out there, this workshop has it all! We will build the most amazing projects from the maker scene using a wide variety of materials and techniques. VibroBots, gnomes, sound apparatuses, soldering art and much more are available.
You will have plenty of time to experiment and let your imagination run wild. By the end of the workshop, you will have learned how to solder, glue and drill. You will also have mastered the basics of electrical engineering.

Outsmarted
from 8 years up, duration: 3 hours, cost: € 210
A hand that can draw a line. A pair of scissors that moves as if by magic. A journey to the moon. Is that possible? Yes, of course, in an animated film.
Create your own children's animated film: write a script, take the pictures with the iPad and add crazy sounds to your film! We'll find inspiration in the exhibitions at the ZKM.

Happy Coding with Calliope Mini
from 9 years up, duration: 3 hours, cost: € 210
»Calliope mini« is a small computer with which you can easily learn programming. In this workshop, we will show you the basics of programming and then develop your first own projects together with you, such as alarm systems, fans, Morse code devices or funny vibrating toothbrush animals.

Create images with AI – experiments with »text-to-image« generators
from 14 years up, duration: 3 hours, cost: € 210
Work together with artificial intelligence (AI) to create exciting images! We’ll be experimenting with a popular »text-to-image« generator: in other words, you write, the AI creates the images, and the better you work as a team, the more the algorithm helps you express your creativity. In a fun and easy way, you’ll learn about the huge potential (but also the risks) of a brand-new technology.
