Description
As part of the open-door action day by Die Sendung mit der Maus [German children’s TV show], the ZKM | Karlsruhe opens door and gate! Children take a peek for one day behind the scenes of the museums and the institutes.
They may, for example, immerse themselves in the virtual worlds of the ZKM_Panorama Laboratory, following which they can learn more about the development of these. In the Minidom, they experience music in an unheard of manner and, with a view into the work of the museum technicians, the young visitors experience why some works of art require extra-special maintenance, or why computers are very important for the work for the museum technicisans. In addition, the ZKM | Museum Communication provides guided tours through the ZKM | Museums.
