Uncensored Clinic

In July, Hertzlab will collaborate with guest artists on a special project for the »TURNS: Sounding Out Health« series. »Uncensored Clinic« is an immersive, multiplayer performance by artist Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley (Tate Modern, Berghain), in collaboration with the sound designer Florentin Tudor (Wavesovspace) and composer and Hertzlab intern Rochelle Tham (Stanford). A speculative clinic will unfold in the unique spatial sound of the ZKM Sound Dome, in which listeners will become participants. An interactive space for healing, confrontation, and radical empathy is created through a blend of soundscapes, game aesthetics, and performative care.
