Julian Rohrhuber

Since 2009 Julian Rohrhuber has been Professor of Music Informatics at the Institute for Music and Media at the University Düsseldorf. Previously, he conducted research on agency and algorithmic acoustics as part of the Graduate Research Group »Media and Cultural Communication« at the University of Cologne and the Academy of Media Arts. His installations, performances and video works are particularly concerned with art as a form of theory. He develops new methods of conversational programming and network music such as JITLib and improvises in live coding ensembles. (wertlos.org/~rohrhuber)
