Based on a novel by Otto Klement and Jay Lewis Bixby, Fleischer created a drama within a human body using spectacular special effects. A submarine with medical crew is shrunk to the size of a needle and fights against time to save the man's life. A mysterious saboteur on board threatens the micro-medical success.
