Biography
Inge Claus-Jansen studied from 1960 to 1965 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich in the class of Ernst Geitlinger. In 1964, she created her first static and kinetic objects and from then on experimented with industrial glass, focussing on the optical changeability of static and kinetic structures. From 1965, she worked as a freelance artist.
Inge Claus-Jansen's estate has been at the ZKM since 2019.
