Biography
With a long history as percussionist in various areas such as traditional African music, experimental rock and free improvisation, her interests also covers electroacoustic music. She studied electroacoustic composition at the Royal College in Stockholm and developed a set-up for live electronics and the real-time processing of percussion and other sources of sound. Rhythmic structures and multi-layering characterizes Lise-Lotte Norelius’ music, which can be beautiful, extreme and brutal. In more recent years, she has worked with small motors and builds simple noise generators, which she uses in combination with her Max/MSP software. She is founder of the Do-It-Yourself-Ensemble Syntjuntan, with which she holds workshops and concerts with textiles and instruments.
