What streams of information can make us daydream today?

Ten years ago, watching a street from a high building could make me zoom out forever. Nowadays, if I have empty time, I find myself motorically scrolling. The adaptation to acceleration and expansion and the stream of information affect how we interpret, process and react to the perceived. Can the museum search with "us" for a new state of Doing Nothing?

A Thousand Echoes

In the flood of fake and plausible information made by AI, individual voices are forgotten or even distorted and remembered by being buried in the manufactured collective voice. A novel AI audiovisual mosaic technology will create a targeted sound and video installation by rearranging 1000 different sounds and images. It addresses the dangers of AI technology that blurs the line between personal and collective memory. Isn't it that we see only what we want to see more and more and hear only what we want to hear, trapped in our own illusionary world?

Measures

The fluctuating capacity for empathy in human beings is simultaneously perplexing and perverse. Measures generates interactive sound works based on physiological indicators of empathy using artificial intelligence. Combining dynamic music emotion recognition and analysis of individual electro-dermal activity readings, a unique sound work is created from the empathetic responses of the user. Once a new piece is created, it is added to the pool of auditory cues for the next user and so on. What causes music to evoke emotions in people?  What stimuli can succeed at evoking empathy or its absence? Can AI truly witness empathy in humans? Can AI even help humans be more empathetic? Why do we care?
