Opening ole scheeren : spaces of life

Architecture is both an expression of reality and a vision of possible future lifeworlds. We are pleased to invite you and your friends to the opening of the exhibition »ole scheeren : spaces of life« at the ZKM | Karlsruhe.

Ole Scheeren is an internationally renowned contemporary architect who is well-known for his innovative high-rise buildings, stacked skyscrapers, and residential projects worldwide. For Scheeren, architecture is a kind of body or a stage for human life. Beyond their functionality, Scheeren’s buildings activate the ideas, fantasies, and emotions of the people who live and work in them, keeping with his motto: »form follows fiction.«

With the exhibition ole scheeren : spaces of life the ZKM is dedicating the first comprehensive solo exhibition to the Karlsruhe-born architect. In the atria, spatial installations and digital applications place the experience of his architecture at the center of the exhibition.

The exhibition is open for you from 8 to 11 pm. The entrance is free.
The mint Café will be at your disposal with snacks and drinks.
