Why is it that a good mood can sometimes be contagious?
Why do trends, memes, and emotions spread so quickly?
And what emotions move us through everyday life - both online and offline?
In the workshop “Transactions of Desire,” Korean artist Yeongju Yang invites participants to explore these questions through experimental printmaking techniques using stamps and sponges.
Inspired by the idea of emotional contagion in today’s hyper-connected media culture, the workshop encourages participants to reflect on how emotions, desires, and moods circulate between people and shape one another. Guided by individual expression, intuition and mutual exchange, layered prints and textures will emerge through collective creation.
No previous experience is necessary: curiosity, openness, and a willingness to experiment are all you need.
