Biography
After training as a bookseller, Dr. Birte Werner studied art history and German studies and worked as a dramaturge in the theater after completing her doctorate. From 2012 to 2021, she was head of the Performing Arts program at the Federal Academy for Cultural Education in Wolfenbüttel. Since 2021, she has been head of the Center for Cultural Participation Baden-Württemberg (ZfKT).
