Biography
Bruno Gola is a Brazilian computer artist, sound artist, live coder and musician
based in Berlin. He studied computer sciences in São Paulo. Since 2020 he is a graduate and Meisterschüler of the study program art and media at the Berlin University of the Arts. Gola combines his technical and artistic studies to program his own softwares and build instruments for live performances or interactive installations. In 2021 he was artist in residence at Ljudmila in Ljubljana, Slovenia as part of the project »On-the-Fly: Fostering Live Coding Practices Across Europe«. He is one of the organizers of TOPLAP Berlin, hosting live coding meetups and performances in Berlin.
Bruno Gola’s works and performances have been shown in festivals and venues such as ACUD MACHT NEU (2019), CTM Festival (2021), Dystopie Sound Art Festival (2018 and 2020), Leipziger Hörspielsommer Festival (2021), Algopolis Ljubljana (2021), K3 | Kampnagel (2022), Panke Culture (2023), among others.
