- Cord Passow studied physics from c. 1949. From c. 1959 worked for the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY). In 1960 created with Kurd Alsleben drawings with an analog computer. From c. 1968 worked for the Kernforschungszentrum Karlsruhe, then part of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
