Jessica Menger

Jessica Menger M.A. joined the curatorial department at the ZKM | Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe in 2020. For the exhibition »Critical Zones. Observatories for Earthly Politics« (2020-2021), she was involved as a curatorial assistant and, together with Barbara Kiolbassa, responsible for designing the activation program. She is also the project coordinator of the media art festival »Seasons of Media Arts« and organized the presentation of the installation »Connected to Life« by Chiharu Shiota. In addition to her work at the ZKM, she focuses on transformation processes in cultural institutions and completed a program for transformation management in sustainable culture by the Aktionsnetzwerk Nachhaltigkeit in mid-february. She completed her bachelor's degree in »Visual Arts, Music and Modern Media: Organization and Presentation« at Philipps-Universität in Marburg and her master's degree in »International Media Cultural Work« at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
