Arthur Schuman

Arthur Schuman (*1993) is a scenographer and interdisciplinary artist. He is an observer of social dynamics. Using an investigative approach, he explores cultural and historical sites and reveals hidden layers. His work is fuelled by individual impressions and the courage to delve into questions that are often reluctantly asked. Through a mixture of research, artistic intervention and reflection, he creates works that oscillate between memory, criticism and poetry. He studied Scenography, Exhibition Design and Media Art at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design, as well as Stage Design at the Berlin University of Arts.
