Biography

Finn Baygan (*1996 in Heidelberg) is a German media artist and creative media producer who lives and works in Karlsruhe. His interdisciplinary work encompasses film, video, photography, music, performance, and literature. He studied media arts at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design starting in 2016, among others under Professor Michael Bielický, and graduated with a diploma in 2024. Central themes of his are the post-ironic tightrope walk between depth and humor, the exploration of the most deeply hidden facets of the human condition, and the poly-perspectival illumination of his subjects to create truly multidimensional impressions. The guiding motif always remains the narrative, even though it takes many different forms.
