Biography
Louisa Palmi is a composer and artist working with immersive sound. With a background spanning mathematics, and medicine, she integrates scientific perspectives into her artistic practice. Her work is strongly interdisciplinary, often merging artistic methods with scientific research and cross-disciplinary collaboration to open new ways of perceiving and understanding complex phenomena. Her practice centers on electronics, field recordings, and 3D audio, exploring perception, space, and complex auditory processes. Palmi’s work has been presented internationally at venues and festivals including IRCAM (Paris), C-Lab (Taipei), and MA/IN (Rome).
