»Masterclass«! The scholarship program at the ZKM for young people interested in art.

Immerse yourself in the exhibition worlds of the ZKM, be inspired by digital artworks and supported by professional artists! For young creative people at the transition from school to study or training: The scholarship »Masterclass at the ZKM«!

In the »Masterclass«, participants are given the opportunity during a school year to become acquainted with current art trends and the ZKM program with the support of the ZKM | Center for Art and Media, as well as the chance to create a work of art themselves and exhibit it in a public presentation. The exchange with like-minded people and professional artists is a unique opportunity to try out and develop oneself and one's work in an artistic environment. Five to seven applicants with a recognizable enthusiasm for art, new media, and the ZKM will be selected by an expert jury for the one-year fellowship.

Become part of the »Masterclass«: Are you interested in media and art, a student and between 15 and 19 years old? Then apply now! The new application phase for the upcoming school year 2021/22 has started: Send your application to the ZKM Karlsruhe by August 1, 2021 and join the »Masterclass«! Further information can be found here.

Together with the Fördergesellschaft ZKM / HfG e.V. and the support of the Gunther Schroff Foundation, the Museum Communication initiated the »Masterclass at ZKM« in 2014.
