Fabian Faylona
Biography
Fabian Faylona is a designer, artist, and researcher working in the field of spatial practice and eco-socially engaged art. Through mapping, writing and participatory formats he explores the potentials artistic approaches hold in dissolving dualist notions of nature and culture. He is interested in ways to reconnect urban ways of living with land-based experiences and decentralise academic discourse beyond institutional boundaries. Across this multi-modal practicehe aims to form interdisciplinary touching points, fostering moments of common understanding and promoting shared responsibility for more than human living spaces. Besides his independent practice he is working for the Circular School Program of HfG Karlsruhe as art and research associate for Bioregional Weaving.
