Honey Biba Beckerlee
Biography
Honey Biba Beckerlee (*1978, DK) lives and works in Copenhagen, DK. She studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and received a Ph.D. from Aarhus University and from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Beckerlee explores material intelligence and planetary entanglement through tactile sculptures and installations made from digital raw materials, woven cables, and microchip waste. Through her work, she examines the ecological and material costs of the digital age and the connections between nature and technology in the Anthropocene.
