Jonas Jørgensen
Biography
Jonas Jørgensen (*1977, DK) lives and works in Copenhagen as associate professor at the biorobotics section of the University of Southern Denmark. He studied physics and art history at the Copenhagen University and Columbia University, US, and received his Ph.D. at the IT University of Copenhagen as a member of the Robotics Evolution and Art Lab. Jørgensen’s artistic practice explores the intersection of soft robotics, artificial life, and material systems, using experimental installations to question the boundaries between biological and technological forms of agency.
