Marco Barotti
Biography
Marco Barotti (*1979, IT) lives and works in Berlin, DE. After graduating from Siena Jazz Academy, IT, he developed a practice at the intersection of sound, sculpture, and installation. Combining audio technology, consumer objects, waste, and natural materials, he creates kinetic sculptures activated entirely by sound. Inspired by animal and plant forms, Barotti’s speculative “technological ecosystems” reflect on the relationship between technology and nature, encouraging awareness of environmental issues.
