A History of Performance in 10 Acts

From the beginning ten so-called witnesses accompanied the exhibition "Moments. A History of Performance in 10 Acts". During the process, they functioned as observers and mediators in all four exhibition phases. In the fourth phase of Moments, named "Remembering the Act", the witnesses advanced to the main actors of the exhibition.
In the occasion of the finissage, the witnesses will present their artistic works which they developed during the course of the exhibition. Their experiences made during this process and their strategies for the gradual appropriation of the exhibition space will be part of the finissage, embodied in performances, videos and installative works. Subsequent to these live-actions, a collective exorzism ritual will take place in the exhibition space.
We invite you and your friends to join this techno-ritual performance at the end of the exhibition Moments, and - in collaboration with the witnesses - to vacate the room from the moments which happened in it.
