Economy and Non-profit Organizations as Partners. A Market for Good Business 2013
Tue, April 23, 2013 5 pm CEST, Lecture
The “Market for Good Business” brings together companies and non-profit organizations in order to conclude engagement-agreements for mutual use. In the form of a speed-dating session lasting only 90 minutes, and under the motto “Do Good and Win Together” everything is negotiated: questions of money, however, are taboo. Each organization and each business come to a number of agreements with different partners. The objective is to establish new contacts, negotiate new cooperation, and to acquire project-related support. It’s all about the resources with which business can achieve something good: voluntary engagement by the staff, knowledge-transfer or donations.

The idea of the “Market for Good Business” originally stems from the Netherlands. The Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband Baden-Württemberg provided the original impulse and lent its support for the German pilot project entitled »The Economy and non-Profit Organizations as Partners – Market for Good Business«. In Karlsruhe, the Paritätischen Sozialdienste organized the “Market for Good Business” in cooperation with the KPMG; this action is promoted by the “Glücksspirale”.
