ZKM | Karlsruhe warmly invites you to its Open House Day on January 6, 2018. A varied program with tours, workshops, presentations and concerts with contemporary music awaits you and guarantees an exciting day at the ZKM for young and old.

This year’s main focus is on our exhibition »Open Codes. Living in Digital Worlds«. Children, parents, grandparents, artists, coding amateurs and culture lovers are invited to discover what’s hidden behind our digital world and to playfully interact with it.

Whether by creating your own artwork in the workshop »Code & Paint« with Calliope or by discussing the opportunities and risks of digitalization with Entropia on chaos and biscuits – the Open House Day once again provides a program for young and old, for technology beginners, enthusiasts and nerds. New computer games in the ZKM_Gameplay exhibition, the Feminists or works by scholarship holders of the art foundation of Baden-Württemberg can be discovered and explored in instawalks, museum rallies, action and children’s tours.

There will be »free entry« to all exhibitions!

For refreshments, culinary delicacies will be given out for a small price.

We look forward to your visit!
