After its outstanding performance »Scattered« at TANZ KARLSRUHE 2016, the British dance company »Motionhouse« is now exploring the topic of energy with the electrifying and multimedia production »Charge«.

In an exciting fusion of art and science, Motionhouse and partners at Oxford University have researched the role of electricity in the human body. Exciting digital imagery, an extraordinary set design, athletic dance and the captivating acrobatics of the company create a cosmos on stage that deals with both the macro and micro levels: Topics such as solar energy, the worldwide weather system, but also the flow of energy in the human body create a choreographic narrative and at the same time exciting project.

The British dance company Motionhouse was founded in 1988 by Kevin Finnan and Louise Richards and has since stood for extraordinary contemporary dance supported by projections, elements of theatre and acrobatics.

Duration: 70 min.
