In his debut novel »Das Ting« author Artur Dziuk asks: What would happen if an app determined your life? Four young visionaries found a start-up in Berlin and developed an app together: the so-called »Ting«, which collects and evaluates body-related data of its users and on this basis gives recommendations for action and decisions.
The »Ting« concept is convincing – the app hits like a bomb. Driven by success, co-founder Linus continues to develop the possibilities to optimize his own life and that of his users with the help of Ting. But in order to win new investors for the company, he and his team are soon forced to get involved in a dangerous game: they commit themselves to obey every recommendation of the Ting under all circumstances – with devastating consequences. What would happen if an app determined your life? Artur Dziuk was born in Poland in 1983 and lives in Hamburg. He studied in Berlin and Hildesheim, where he graduated with a Master of Arts in Literary Writing. Today he is regarded as one of the young talents of the literary scene. He received various scholarships.
