»Resonance becomes the antithesis of alienation in the world« – With his light and sound installation »res·o·nant« the conceptual artist Mischa Kuball invited artists, thinkers and writers to interpret.
The book »res·o·nant« comments on conceptual artist Mischa Kuball's project of the same name at the Jewish Museum Berlin. From November 2017 to August 2019, Kuball performed a site-specific light and sound installation on underground sections of the Daniel Libeskind-designed building. In this book, 18 authors and artists sonicate, illuminate, reflect, and project the resonant space Kuball created inside and outside the museum.
Following the book launch, Mischa Kuball, Gregor Lersch and Peter Weibel will join the conversation and provide further insights into »res·o·nant« and the meaning of resonance. A musical contribution will be added to the program by »Kreidler« with a live performance of their album »Flood«, released in 2019.
