THE RESIDENTS – GOD IN 3 PERSONS

The Residents’ God in 3 Persons (a collaboration with media artist John Sanborn) is a propulsive and brooding musical about madness. The Residents’ anonymous lead singer performs as disgraced preacher Mr. X, who tells an improbable tale of encounters with a pair of ambiguously gendered conjoined twins, who might be miracle workers. God in 3 Persons confronts audiences with the horrors of losing your soul while attempting to attain perfection. This version contains all of the songs from the 1988 album, making it the definitive version of the show.

Celebrating their 50th anniversary The Residents will visit ZKM for three exclusive European performances of God in 3 Persons on September 10th (18.00 & 21.00) and 11th (18.00) 2022.
