Holly Herndon

Herndon was born in Tennessee. After time practicing in Berlin, she returned to the US to study electronic music and recording media at Mills College. Herndon is presently pursuing a PhD at Stanford’s music department, conducting research at the CNMAT. Herndon recently released her second album, »Platform«, on RVNG Intl./4AD, performs globally, and has installed work at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the Guggenheim in New York, and ZKM in Karlsruhe.
