The exhibition »Nobody's Listening« creates an immersive environment that generates greater international awareness of the events of the 2014 genocidal campaign and its profoundly devastating consequences for the Yazidi people, Christians as well as other minority religious groups and their cultural heritage in northern Iraq.

»Nobody's Listening« contains a Virtual Reality experience that commemorates the Yazidi genocide committed by ISIS in the summer of 2014 in northern Iraq.  Seven years after the genocide, this is a forward-facing exhibition that focuses on what needs to happen next. It provides a platform for survivors and displaced people to tell their stories, display their expressions of painting, sculpture, and poetry – and make their voices heard about what actions are still needed.

The ceremonial opening of the exhibition will take place as a hybrid event, both streamed and live. Both political voices and survivors will speak and give an insight into the current situation.

The event will be held in English.
