Biography

Beatrice Dillon is a London based artist working with music, sound and installation. Her recent album »Workaround« (PAN, 2020) was named ‘Album of the Year’ by The Wire Magazine, with previous critically acclaimed solo and collaborative releases across leading international electronic music labels. Her musical work encompasses a nuanced exploration of polyrhythmic programming, spatial sound, and interests in process-based systems across both visual and sonic mediums. She studied Fine Art in London, before working on jazz and experimental music programmes for BBC Radio. Recent solo presentations include: Haus der Kunst (Munich, Germany), Tokyo MODE (Japan), Greene Naftali (NY USA), Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art (Portugal), Munch Museum (Norway), STUK Leuven (Belgium), Institute of Contemporary Art (United Kingdom). She is a recipient of the PHF Award for Composers and Artangel’s Thinking Time award.
