Under the Black Flag: Dance to Object to Dance

Christopher Roman (PhD) has accompanied William Forsythe's work as a dancer and ballet master as well as co-founder, choreographic assistant, and artistic director of the Forsythe Company for many years. In the context of the »BLACK FLAGS« exhibition, he will present the choreographic concept of counterpoint on the occasion of William Forsythe's work of the same name and make it tangible in interactive performative interventions. The exhibition will be explored with one's own body and the relationships between objects, dance, body and choreographic thinking will be uncovered.
