Is ZKM wheelchair accessible?
The foyer, library, event rooms, and exhibitions are accessible. There are elevators in the foyer and exhibitions.

Where are the accessible restrooms?
There are accessible restrooms in the foyer and in Atrium 8+9 on the first floor.
Unfortunately, the restrooms in the other exhibitions are not accessible.

Are there parking spaces for people with disabilities?
Three designated disabled parking spaces are available at the Lorenzstraße entrance, and more spaces are located in the underground parking garage. An elevator leads directly from the underground parking to the ZKM foyer.

What discounts does the ZKM offer?
People with an ID card for the severely disabled receive a reduced admission price. Accompanying persons receive free admission.

Are assistance dogs permitted?
Assistance dogs with the corresponding identification and certification are allowed at the ZKM.

Can I borrow a wheelchair?
If you need a wheelchair, please ask the staff at the information desk in the foyer. Wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers are available.

Does the ZKM offer an accessible program?
The ZKM regularly organizes accessible tours open to everyone. The program includes tours in simple language, sensory tours, and simultaneous translations into German Sign Language. There are also descriptive tours for visually impaired and blind people.
