Ana Prendes
Biography
Ana Prendes is a curator and writer. Her work explores how artistic practices critically engage with our technoscientific culture. She is currently head of programmes at Platform Dali, a new art and science initiative by the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation, developed in collaboration with leading research laboratories in Barcelona. Previously, she was Assistant Curator at Arts at CERN (2020-25) and has worked with the Science Gallery Network. Recent curatorial projects include |indeterminate⟩⟨apparatus| at Belvedere 21, and collaborations with artists in institutions such as Mattress Factory, the European Commission’s S+T+ARTS programme, and Serendipity Arts Festival, among others. Her work has been recognised through fellowships and residencies from the Arts Council Korea, the Documenta Institute, the Shanghai Curators Lab, National Autonomous University of Mexico, Humboldt University of Berlin, among others. She is a founding member of the Ars Electronica Creative Producers Programme, and her writing has appeared in TANK Magazine, MAAT Museum, and CLOT Magazine.
