- Biography
- Georg Nees studied mathematics, physics, and philosophy at the University of Erlangen and the Technische Hochschule Stuttgart under Max Bense (Ph.D. 1969). Doctoral dissertation »Generative Computergraphik« was the first Ph.D. thesis in the field of computer art. 1969–1973 collaboration with Ludwig Rase. 1977 honorary professor of applied informatics at the University of Erlangen. He lives in Erlangen, DE.
