Paul Heinrich Bethge is a media artist and creative coder, also known as Paul Henri. Currently, he is based in Hong Kong. In 2020, After completing his master's degree in computer science, he began his activities at ZKM | Karlsruhe. Until the end of 2023 he worked as a software developer in the intelligent.museum project. Most notably, he supported the team and visiting artists with his expertise in artificial intelligence and through the development of exhibits and artworks.
Since January 2024, he has been working with ZKM’s former head of visual department, Jeffrey Shaw, on the development of the cinema of the future.
As an artist, he explores intermedial translation and multimodal interactions between humans and machines.
