By now we have probably realized: the time of the Corona Virus is changing our lives. How permanently though? Doesn't this state of emergency also offer the chance to think about the time after the virus, after the measures taken against it and after the insecurities?
Together with the médialab of Science Po Paris, the ZKM asks what we can learn from the current crisis with regard to the climate crisis.
In this workshop we want to collectively reflect on these questions. We will practice self-description, speaking and imagining from our personal level of experience. We may not find any direct solutions to the crises – but we will take steps towards locating/orienting ourselves in the complex reality of our time (and understanding the political potential of this orientation). Prepare yourself for poetic lists, digital on-screen poems and engaging terrestrial discussions!
This workshop is based on the questionnaire »Where to Land after the Pandemic?« by Bruno Latour. You are welcome to try out the questionnaire in advance or to return to it after the workshop.
Required material: Laptop with stable internet connection, pen, paper
