Description
This video uses Ken Feingold's interactive computer-based installation The Surprising Spiral from 1991 to illustrate the challenges involved in restoring and conserving computer art. At the same time, it highlights the strategies needed to preserve such works long-term. This documentation, created as part of the exhibition The Story That Never Ends (April 5, 2025 - September 20, 2026), provides insight into the work of the restorers and technicians at ZKM | Karlsruhe.
