The word biodiversity is on everyone's lips. But what is it anyway and why is it so important? And what exactly is the situation with biodiversity in Karlsruhe? What can we do to prevent its loss on our own doorstep?
The city district of Karlsruhe is characterized by an extremely high level of biodiversity. Find out together how you can make a difference through even the smallest actions. Katherina Fies from the Department of Ecology of the Environment and Occupational Safety of the City of Karlsruhe invites you to an open exchange about biodiversity in the city of Karlsruhe.
A "shared picnic" is planned on the orchard meadow, with the raised hides providing a pleasant ambience. Here, everyone can share the finger food they have brought with them and enjoy some conversation in a relaxed atmosphere.
Where: Katzenwedelwiese (orchard meadow) in Beiertheim-Bulach, St. Florian Straße (at Wendehammer), 76135 Karlsruhe
